| Fire Dennis Green! I'm sure the shouts of "Fire Dennis Green!" will be starting soon, if they haven't already. The Cardinals have a real rookie sensation at QB in Matt Leinart and loads of skill position talent. Their defense showed yesterday that they can get the job done. But in consecutive weeks, Arizona has blown leads and wound up with losses. The playcalling has come under fire, and Denny basically had a post-game meltdown after the loss to Chicago. So how much longer will Green been on the Cardinals sideline?

| Edgerrin James had the worst line I've ever seen on a running back. 36 carries for 55 yards. That's 1.5 yds a carry...The Cards offensive line is one of the worst in the league. They should improve the line before they fire Green. |

| Re: Fire Dennis Green! Green should be safe for now -- his offensive coordinator has been made the fall guy. According to the Associated Press, "Frustrated Arizona Cardinals coach Dennis Green fired offensive coordinator Keith Rowen on Tuesday and replaced him with quarterbacks coach Mike Kruczek... The move came hours after the Cardinals blew a 20-point lead and lost to the Chicago Bears 24-23 on Monday night." Reactions to this move? |

| Re: Fire Dennis Green! I was at the game last night. Here is my take on why they lost. They dominated the game in the 1st half and Chicago had no clue what to do to stop them. They spread the field and had the Bears thoroughly confused. That all went away in the 2nd half. They went conservative in what I think was their feeble attempt at a ball control offense. Problem is when you can't run, it is awful hard to burn up the clock. James wasn't great, but that offensive line was, and is, pitiful. They did a decent job of pass blocking, but they were pitiful run blocking. James was hit at or behind the line of scrimmage constantly. They also did a horrible job of clock management. Too often, they were snapping the ball with about 10 seconds on the 25 second clock. The coaching staff should have noticed that and made corrections. They also did a poor job on special teams. Why kick the ball directly to a punt returner?? Do they not know how to kick away from a player or out of bounds?? That was another horrible decision. The only people you can't blame is the Cards defense. They were outstanding last night. I am not a Cards fan, but I wouldn't mind seeing them win. I felt really sorry for the die hard fans. The season ticket holders I was around almost all said at half time that the Cards would find a way to mess it up. This team just doesn't know how to win.

| Re: Fire Dennis Green! No, I agree with Empire. That Cardinals team should have played better than that, and you can point fingers at a lot of people, but the bottom line is, the coaching staff should have had them ready to put forth a better effort that they did this evening. That, combined with Monday night and the postgame tirade, combined with the problems on his coaching staff, combined with his waffling over the QB position early in the season, will cost Green his job. It's just a matter of when at this point. |

Show of hands...you have a team that rolls over with 5 minutes to play in a game they should have easily won and you would be composed at the press conference...show of hands now, anyone?...I'd fire anyone that wouldn't blow a gasket after they coached a team that performed like that...Fire him if you want to...he prepared them...they had the right game plan agianst the Bears...and the freakin tema coughed it up in the clutch. |

| Re: Fire Dennis Green! A sad story Phoenix, AZ-- A seven-year-old boy was at the center of a Phoenix courtroom drama yesterday when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents, and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping with child custody law and regulations requiring that family unity be maintained. The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his Aunt beat him more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her. When the judge then suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy cried out that they also beat him. After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody of him. After two recesses to check legal references and confer with child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to the Arizona Cardinals, whom the boy firmly believes are not capable of beating anyone. |
