Chicago Bears - Arizona Cardinals game

The Bears against the Cardinals. What can you say about this game? If you're picking in a suicide pool, this is the game to pick. Chicago is unbeaten and dominant on both sides of the ball. Arizona has a rookie QB, a terrible offensive line and will be without Larry Fitzgerald, arguably their top receiver. Chicago should in all likelihood run away with this Monday Night Football match-up, I'm guessing by a 35-3 margin.

Re: Chicago Bears - Arizona Cardinals game

20-0 is a score you might have expected at halftime in this game. But Arizona is putting a whipping on da bears. What is up with that?

Matt Leinart is really looking pretty good in his 1st NFL start. Not awesome but he is taking advantage of the horrible play by Rex Grossman & the Chicago defense.

Wow, I just got home -- are you serious? The Cards are beating Chicago by 20 at the half?

Re: Chicago Bears - Arizona Cardinals game

20-3 late in the 3rd quarter. Arizona is probably going to win but they are making mistakes & leaving the door open for a Chicago comeback. It's like they don't know what to do, don;t know how to shut the door.

They should get at least a field goal here...

A gutsy performance from Arizona. Good thing I picked Denver over Oakland in my Survival League lol.

Sexy Rexy is hardly performing as he should...and they definitely should have kicked the field goal right now instead of going for it...trust your D

Wow, the Bears take the lead on a Devin Hester punt return for a touchdown. 24-23 Chicago with 2:58 left.

Chicago wins after Arizona marches into fieldgoal range.

Atleast Arizona fans now have a qb to cheer for, he looked like a vet.

Re: Chicago Bears - Arizona Cardinals game

Holy cow, what a game!

6 fumbles and zero offensive TDs... and the Bears still win.

You pegged it, JKHOSS. Matt Leinart looked like a reliable veteran as he led his team back from an emotional roller coaster, giving them a solid chance at a 40 yard FG to win the game.

And don't underestimate the pressure that he had on that drive. The Cards were a "sure winner" of this game since the 1st quarter and then they fall apart in the last minutes of the game. You know some of those players were thinking "here we go again..."

What is up with the kicker? Sounds like he's (mostly) to blame for 2 consecutive losses.

He might never be the kicker he was after two devastating misses in two weeks

Coaches must HATE kickers

Re: Chicago Bears - Arizona Cardinals game

I am done with this team!! I have been a season ticket holder for years but this game has finally opened my eyes. This franchise will never produce a winner....never. I have spent my last Sunday waiting in lines to get into the stadium and paying for over priced food served up by Arizona's finest homeless residents.

To think that I shell out $170.00 per week to watch this team. Not anymore, I am posting my remaining Cardinal tickets on ebay and plan on spending a nice relaxing Sunday in my recliner watching the "Ticket."

YOUR FRUSTRATION IS UNDERSTANDABLE.... BUT .....

IF YOU TAKE AWAY 2 BAD PLAYS, BY 2 INDIVIDUAL PLAYERS, IT WAS THE BEST GAME PLAYED BY THE CARDS IN A LONG, LONG TIME.

THAT GAME SHOULD GIVE ARIZONA FANS SOMETHING TO LOOK FOREWARD TO.

With the Cardinals, there always seems to be a but.

Welcome HuskerBud...and say it isn't so bro...this is the dawning of the age of Leinart...though the kid is struggling today.
