Gardiner is an offensive weapon on the blueline who utilizes his exceptional speed to rush the puck up ice. The 6'2, 178 pound defenseman scored 20 goals and added 28 assists in 28 games this past season for Minnetonka High School (MN). Gardiner started his high school career as a forward but was moved to defense for his senior season. Gardiner’s defensive play is still a bit raw due to only playing one year at the position but will progress with experience.
