Ilya Bryzgalov dominates Colorado

Where did this kid come from? Ilya Bryzgalov of the Ducks posted his second consecutive shutout yesterday, helping Anaheim to absolutely roll over the Colorado Avalanche, 5-0. Teemu Selanne added a goal and two assists in the victory. Is this a sign of things to come in the series?

Re: Ilya Bryzgalov dominates Colorado

Wow just total domination is right...its now 3-0 and the chances for the Aves are not good. Here is a link http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/H/HKN_MIGHTY_DUCKS_AVALANCHE?SITE=AP&SECTION=HOME&TE MPLATE=DEFAULT&CTIME=2006-05-10-00-40-00

So now that the Ducks are just about a sure thing, who would they rather play, the Oilers or the Sharks?

Re: Ilya Bryzgalov dominates Colorado

Playing the Sharks would be a lot easier travel wise. But that also means giving the Sharks home ice. I don't care who the Ducks face so long as they keep playing like they are it won't matter. This run is eerily similar to the run they made to the Stanley Cup finals when Giguere came from nowhere to lead them. The last year I lived in California was the inaugral season for the Ducks, and I had season tickets for that first year. It is a lot of fun to see them succesful in the playoffs after some horrible seasons early on.
