Anaheim wins Game 2

The Anaheim Ducks have taken a 2-0 lead in the Stanley Cup Finals.

According to the Associated Press, "First Travis Moen, then Samuel Pahlsson... A couple of late third-period goals from unexpected sources have the Ducks within two wins of Southern California's first Stanley Cup... Pahlsson figured out sharp goalie Ray Emery with 5:44 left to give the Ducks a 1-0 victory over Ottawa on Wednesday night and a 2-0 lead in the Stanley Cup finals." So why have the Ducks been so successful against the Senators thus far, and can they hold on to hoist the Cup?

Re: Anaheim wins Game 2

This won't sound too technical, it just seems like the Ducks won't let Ottawa do anything. Like doors or walls in the Sens' way. Emery is playing great - thankful for the ducks, so is Giguere (that last minute last night was a nail biter, wow did Ottawa ever turn it on).
The Ducks have had a powerless power play - but that's not mattering much.
Ottawa is like a midget vs a very tall person right now. Sorry if that's politically incorrect -should i say short person? The Sens are trying to get past someone who has a big hand on their forehead, keeping them back.

Actually I agree...what did Ottawa get?...16 shots on goal?...wow...the Ducks are all over those guys...I mean sure Giguere is good, but 16 shots is all he faced...

And I think they are "little people" but I could be wrong...

Cool Re: Anaheim wins Game 2

Needless to say, Ottawa has to have game 3.

It's so strange to me that I couldn't get a championship series of a "major" sport, on my TV set.
