| Tyrone Prothro Roll 'Bama Roll has a good story right now about how important Tyrone Prothro is to the Alabama Crimson Tide offense. According to their stats, the Tide scored more points in the five games they had Prothro than in the seven after his injury - 33 more points, in fact, a 29.6 ppg average versus a 16.4 ppg average. So if Prothro's back and healthy in 2006, how potent will the Alabama offense be?

| Re: Tyrone Prothro tyrone prothro was alabama's offense. the only way alabama won 4 more games after prothro was injured, was the defense. For example, the missisipii state game: it was a scoreless game until halftime and then bamas defense rose up to the ocasion and forced a fumble and and a interception. P.S: Jaime Cristensen was the reason that alabama won against ole miss, tennessee, and texas tech. bamas offense has to improve! |

| Re: tyrone prothro Hope no one minds but I merged the two Prothro threads into one... apparently the search engines really like the old ones, and that means we have a better chance of more Bama fans seeing it and joining our community here. That's a good thing. Now, regarding Prothro... it certainly would be great if he comes back. I just hope he doesn't rush things and re-injure himself. Those of you who were at the A-Day game: he looked pretty good, didn't he? How close to 100% was he? |
