| Saban's past leads to new Tide pledge From Michigan to Louisiana, Alabama coach Nick Saban hasn't hesitated to use past coaching ties in landing that next recruit. The same goes for his first college head coaching job in Toledo, Ohio. Mike Marrow, a 6-foot-2, 240-pound prospect from Toledo, committed to the Crimson Tide on Friday night. He could play running back or linebacker in college. Marrow's father Vince is a former NFL tight end who is now an assistant coach at Toledo. He transferred from Youngstown State to Toledo in 1990, the one year that Saban served as the Rockets' head coach. Mike and Vince are visiting Alabama's campus and committed in person. Full Story
