Heat wave threatens players

Saban and staff have to be very careful with the players and not overdoing it. Earlier this year a Div 2 player collapsed and died from the heat in NC. Teams and thier trainers are taking extra precautions. Coaches treat the heat as a curse and a blessing it wears out players quickly and also builds stamina. So the dog days of Summer may be just what the Tide needs to handle the Dawgs later on in the season. Certainly when the two rematch in the SEC Championship both teams will be relying on thier summer training for both strength and stamina.
