| Crimson Tide Roll Into Oklahoma City for Women's College World Series TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Alabama begins play in its fifth NCAA Women's College World Series on Thursday, May 29, at 6 p.m. at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City against Arizona State on ESPN HD. Alabama enters the 2008 NCAA Women's College World Series as the No. 3 national seed. The Crimson Tide swept through the NCAA Tuscaloosa Regional and Super Regional to advance to their fifth Women's College World Series. Alabama went 5-0 in the regional and super regional, outscoring its opponents 35-4. The Tide is 56-6 on the season and winners of the SEC Western Division title with a 25-3 league record. Arizona State Sun Devils (61-5) swept Northwestern in the NCAA Tempe Super Regional to advance to Oklahoma City. Alabama and Arizona State are joined by Arizona and UCLA in one WCWS bracket while Florida and Louisiana-Lafayette and Texas A&M and Virginia Tech are in the other bracket. Full Story
