TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Alabama softball team will face Missouri in the NCAA Tuscaloosa Super Regional next weekend at the Alabama Softball Complex.
The NCAA Tuscaloosa Super Regional will get underway on Friday, May 23, at 6:30 p.m. The super regional continues with game two at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 24, with game three, if necessary, scheduled for 4:30 p.m. The Tuscaloosa Super Regional will not be televised.
The Crimson Tide (54-6) is the No. 3 national seed in the 2008 NCAA Tournament and breezed through the NCAA Tuscaloosa Regional with a win over Chattanooga and two wins against Jacksonville State over the weekend. Missouri captured the NCAA Iowa City Regional on Sunday and will travel to Tuscaloosa next weekend for a best-of-three super regional for a trip to the 2008 NCAA Women's College World Series in Oklahoma City, Okla., at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium.
