ALPHARETTA, GA. – The second round is called moving day in collegiate golf and the No. 1 ranked University of Alabama men’s golf team did just that on Tuesday, moving from a three-way tie at fourth on Monday to second place after 36 holes at the United States Collegiate Championships.
The 54-hole tournament began on Monday with the first round and concludes with the final round on Wednesday. The tournament is being held at the Golf Club of Georgia’s Lakeside Course in Alpharetta, Ga., and features, among its field of 15, ten Top 25 ranked teams, including all eight of the nation’s top eight ranked teams.
