Men's golf team tied for fourth at U.S. Collegiate Championship

ALPHARETTA, Ga. | The top-ranked University of Alabama golf team shot 6-over Monday in the opening round of the United States Collegiate Championship and is among a three-way tie for fourth place after 18 holes.

The tournament, held at the Golf Club of Georgia’s Lakeside Course in Alpharetta, Ga., began on Monday and picks up with second round play on Tuesday. The final round is on Wednesday for the tournament which features ten Top 25 ranked teams among its field of 15, including all eight of the nation’s top eight ranked collegiate golf teams.

They are #1 they are 4th in this tourney this week with 2 rounds to go when this was posted.
