Alabama Football Injury, surgery updates

Injury, surgery updates
Recurring injuries have forced Cody Davis and B.J. Stabler to end their Alabama football careers.
Doctors told Davis, who was never medically cleared last year, that he cannot play with the condition of his surgically-repaired shoulder.
Stabler has been hampered by a knee injury. Saban said he will petition for medical disqualification for both players.
Ezekial Knight continues to be tested and evaluated following his hospitalization late last month. The incident may have been linked to his heart-problem history. Knight underwent surgery following the 2006 season to repair a heart murmur.
Saban said Knight has been at the off-season program every day but has been unable to participate. His future remains undetermined.
Terry Grant is recovering from a sports hernia, which Saban said affected his performance toward the end of the season. Grant is in the off-season program and will be ready for spring practice.
Glen Coffee underwent right-shoulder, AC joint surgery. He is participating in the off-season program and may be non-contact for a period in spring training.
Milton Talbert had a labrum tear in his right shoulder. He is running in the off-season program, but may be non-contact to start spring practice.
The following banged-up players are participating in the off-season program and should be ready for spring training: Rolando McClain (left thumb and wrist fracture), Roy Upchurch (left thumb tendon tear), Jimmy Johns (meniscus), Georgia Tech transfer Colin Peek (knee scope), punter Heath Thomas (thumb) and long snapper Paul Silvey (ACL reconstruction).
Patrick Crump had a right meniscus tear surgically repaired. Saban hopes he will be "full go" by spring training.

Re: Alabama Football Injury, surgery updates

Sounds like the NFL team reports just before the playoffs. That's really scary.
