TUSCALOOSA - University of Alabama cornerback Simeon Castille did not hesitate when asked for the solution to his ailing team.
"What this team needs is for our players to step up and start leading," said Castille, following the Crimson Tide's 21-14 loss to Louisiana-Monroe Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium, "and not depending on the coaches to do it."
Alabama coach Nick Saban spent much of this past week trying to motivate his team. He brought up shocking upsets in other sports, and he implored his team to focus on a Warhawks program capable of pulling out a win. That should not have been necessary, Castille said.
