So Saban has a bunch of sorry mutinous ungrateful bad attitude losers again this week? I knew before the game he said 30 members of this years squad would not return next season because they were quitters.

I think Auburn just has better palyers - I'll watch a little closer and give you an update.

It's 10 - 0 but Bama just had a great KO return.

seems before the season started many Bama fans were convinced that all the team needed was Saban ...... now i realize he was met at the airport like it was a visit from the Pope, but does he share no blame at all in this ?

Re: Alabama at Auburn

Simon this is my 2 cents

Saban came in Tuscaloosa much like Christ did in Jerusalem to fanfare and loud hosannas of praise. Very shortly thereafter the people turned on him and Christ was crucified. Saban may well be looking at the same thing [being crucified in the media]. Truth is the players at Alabama were not the best atheletes they were average at best. They never bought in to the Saban system. Some bucked the system and did everything they could to get rid of the percieved problem [Coach Saban]. Saban isn't Shula and he will do what it takes to win another National Title. It is sad that finally we see the quitters show themselves the last few games of the season. Saban has made the statement that there are 30 current players who will not have a scholarship next season. I sure hope JPW is among those malcontents. You can bet when Saban gets his guys in place Alabama will return to its rightful place atop the SEC West and win another National Title. Even Bear had a tough time with the players his last years. Discipline begins long before the football practice. It begins with a childhood upbringing. Many of these players believe that the law does not apply to them because they play football. Well Saban is going to show them otherwise. He is thouroughly embarrassed and will make amends to the fans. He finally laid blame at the feet of the ones responsible for this years debacle the players. Saban tried shielding them from the media and taking heat for them. They responded by keeping up thier hostile attitudes and putting him in the line of fire. No coach can control the attitudes of hostile players. The only thing you can do is get rid of them and Saban is going to do that. I don't blame him in the least bit. So go ahead and hang the enemies avatar on my logo. Just know this Alabama will be back stronger and with a much improved recruiting class next year. I just hope that you follow us next season it will be very exciting.

Re: Alabama at Auburn

Bama missed a FG and JPW threw an interception in the end zone. Those are the two big missed highlights IMO.

I still think Bama will win.

Please tell me Stoney did not just compare Nick Saban to Jesus Christ. Please?

I had to do a double take on that one myself.

Stoney, you went way out of bounds by bringing Jesus into a comparison to Saban IMO.

Stoney ask Saban to give us a little rain - our lakes are drying up and we have only about 70 days water left - 4 million people are counting on him.

Re: Alabama at Auburn

Actually I compared the reception both recieved and the treatment of them by the public after the publics expectations were not met.

Actually my expectations were met - I tried to tell you Bama needed more players and that I saw 5 or 6 losses. I watched the game last night - I didn't see one Bama player give up - they played hard and you should be proud of the effort. Auburn was simply the better team.

My cable was out... guess I'll have to hope they make a bowl.

Re: Alabama at Auburn

Anybody know how the Auburn DB is - the police dog took a chunk out of his hand towards the end of the game when they were in the endzone.
