Loss shows first instinct was correct

STARKVILLE, Miss. -- To paraphrase the most popular line in college football this season: Upon further review, the original call stands. The Alabama football program is still a long way from resembling a championship contender.
The original call was made about this time last year when Alabama fell to 6-4 after a humiliating loss to Mississippi State. But that was when the Tide was under the direction of Mike Shula, whose firing was set in motion by the loss to the Bulldogs.
As sobering as it may be for Bama fans, the analysis is just as relevant today.

Well losing isn't a tradition at Alabama and regardless of who is coach it isn't tolerated.
