Stand up and be proud Alabama Nation

I kept hearing how "Saban was coaching against his own players (LSU) who he recruited and at the end lost the game to." I for one am looking at this in a different way. The Alabama Nation should stand up and take note of what is about to become. The real pressure will be on Les Miles in 2 years when he has to coach a true team he recruited, against a true team Saban recruited. What no one was mentioning is that Saban was playing with a team he did not recruit, (Shula's team) yet he still coached a dismal team from Shula's era (which we all know how that would have faired, it would have been over the first half) against the #3 team in the nation and Alabama didn't go down easy. Wait 2 more years for Shula's group to graduate. Then we will see how LSU and Miles fair against Saban's real team at Alabama.
Thoughts and opinions.

You mean it's not a 'what have you done for me lately' business?

I disagree with your take on Shula's players - he did a great job recruiting considering the mess that he took over.

Shula was a wonderful recruiter but a lousy coach when it came to clock management.
