TUSCALOOSA | Tight ends aren’t just for blocking any more at the
University of Alabama.
The tight end position has become an integral part of the 22nd-ranked Crimson Tide’s passing attack, a fact supported by Alabama’s statistics through eight games.
The tandem of Nick Walker and Travis McCall have combined for 19 receptions for 164 yards and two touchdowns so far this season, giving UA’s tight ends more catches for more yards than any group of Alabama tight ends in any whole season in five years.
