TUSCALOOSA -- Safety Rashad Johnson never asked to be the feel-good story of Alabama's football team.
He just felt like he was good enough to play for the Crimson Tide, even when no one else did. Well, except for his father.
When the two sat down to discuss scholarship offers that included The Citadel and only a couple of Division II schools, "He could see it in my eyes I wasn't happy with it," Johnson said.
