Saban, Boone, SEC still talking about Saturday
TUSCALOOSA - Alabama began practice Monday for one of its top rivals.
But last week's 27-24 win over Ole Miss isn't ready to go away.
On Monday:
Alabama coach Nick Saban confirmed one of his assistant coaches had an unfriendly encounter with an irate Ole Miss fan after the game.
Ole Miss athletic director Pete Boone criticized Saban in an impromptu appearance at coach Ed Orgeron's press conference.
SEC supervisor of officials Rogers Redding said instant replay official Doyle Jackson made the correct call in the late-game controversy that ended Ole Miss' rally
