| Report doesn't finger coaches OXFORD, Miss. -- Saturday's long-awaited release of the investigation report of alleged grade-changing at Hoover High School did not implicate Alabama's football coaches or freshman defensive lineman Josh Chapman. Crimson Tide defensive coordinator Kevin Steele was mentioned in the 71-page report, but only saying that he notified Hoover on May 30 upon learning that Chapman had fallen short of the NCAA qualifying standards. Chapman eventually had an algebra grade changed from 89 to 90, the report said, which allowed him to be eligible at UA this season. The report surmised that Hoover's college and career specialist Cindy Bond and counselor Marley Stephens "mistakenly looked at a wrong column" in altering Chapman's grade. Full Story
