Ole-timey Miss

Alabama's defensive players seem especially eager to try to tackle Ole Miss this weekend. Why? The Rebels' offense is much more traditional than what the Crimson Tide has faced for much of this season.
Think back. There really isn't a category for what Arkansas does, while Western Carolina, Vanderbilt and Houston all run a spread, fast-paced offense with multiple receivers. Nick Saban's answer to the spread is to stick entirely with nickel and dime defenses, which leaves first-team linebackers like Darren Mustin in a partial role in favor of reserve secondary players. Walk-on safety Tyrone King, for instance, was on the field for Houston's final drive.

Re: Ole-timey Miss

Yeah well I hope they watched the Florida game. Ole' Miss is not anybody you want to let sniff the fourth quarter lead.
