TUSCALOOSA -- New to Alabama's players this season is the locker room ritual of counting down their point total after victories.
Bruised, tired and relieved, the Crimson Tide thus felt required to collectively count to 30 after squeaking by Houston on homecoming. They then held up the old tradition of singing the school's fight song.
Like much of the previous few hours, one could sense they were only going through the motions....
