| Saban critical of conservative play TUSCALOOSA -- Alabama coach Nick Saban was critical of his team's offensive decisions in the wake of Saturday's 30-24 victory over Houston. Saban wanted to see more throws and fewer runs when the Cougars flooded the line of scrimmage and continually halted the Crimson Tide's offense late in the game. Alabama had 46 running plays Saturday and 27 passes. "You can't just run the ball," Saban said. "In this day and age of football, you'd better be a very, very dominant team. The more they put them up there, the more we should have been passing it." Full Story
