Anyone have this team figured out?

Alabama was up on Houston 23-0 in the first quarter, and it was obvious where this one was going. Right? If you agreed, clearly you hadn't watched this team this year. Alabama allowed the Cougars to climb back into the game, then needed a final interception from Simeon Castille in the end zone for the 30-24 win....

No, this team not much better than they were last week. Yes J.P. Wilson was better in parts of the passing game, mostly it was like watching jekel and hyde. The one good thing was the running stepped up and in the first half the deffense was good but was not as intense the second half. And Yes I know a win is win even if it is a ugly win. The last 3 weeks have been like riding a roller coaster. Dont know if they will get an idenity or not this year well now it is on to Ole Miss next week just hope it's not like the last time Bama went to Oxford.

This is the thing that left me puzzled, and hopefully someone who saw the game can point out their observations. Was this second half collapse a conditioning thing? Were the Tide getting too conservative or something? Did Saban bring in replacement players? Because Houston almost came back to win this one.

QUARTERBACK: John Parker Wilson did little to snub critics despite leading TD drives on Alabama's first three possessions. In the end, however, totaling only 80 passing yards in the final three periods is alarming against a defense as poor as Houston. Interestingly enough, backup Greg McElroy began warming up before Houston made its late rally.

Well Everyone can forget that happening Saban said J. P. is Our Guy and he is sticking with him that he has not done the Job as bad as everyone thinks.(Thinking we only look as the stat. sheets) In other words we Can't believe what we see with our own eyes. Hmm... why in the world is he so dedicated to Wilson? Misplaced loyalty like that is a dangerous thing for a coach.

Maybe Saban and his coaching staff see things on the field that we cant see from the stands or on TV!

Or maybe he is secretly working on Greg McElroy for a suprise against LSU a secret weapon since there is no game tape of him...[so much for conspiracies] Personally I would have started him the second quarter against Georgia but that is just me. Heck he cannot do any worse than JPW did.

Thats it I knew someone would figure it out. Thats great I love it. I would at least give McElroy some P.T. as well.
