No wavering here

Tuesday, 02 October 2007 Saban strongly endorsed junior John Parker Wilson at his Monday press conference - so strong, in fact, that the possibility of giving a look at backup Greg McElroy never came up.
While Saban gave a tough assessment of Wilson following the 26-23 overtime loss to Georgia on Sept. 22, the woes on offense were widespread in Saturday's 21-14 loss to Florida State.
"The quarterback got too much pressure," Saban said in his opening statement before the first question was asked, "got hit too much, (Florida State) rushed three guys and put pressure on you and sack you and cover with eight - it's a difficult day for any quarterback."

Saban was speaking of that specific game. There is no telling what you might see come out for the next game. He knows that he was hire to bring change to the program and he is not affraid to shake things up.

Then block them or use a more mobile QB. Wilson played horrible. He doesn't look off the CBs or safetys and he doesn't check down his recievers. His throwing mechanics are a mess. His lack of leadership is showing if his play is that bad he should step aside for somebody else to take a chance.
