| Re: Just Another Bump In The Road Every team prepairng to play Bama knows that we are thin at the linbacker position. A true freshman middle linbacker is all the proof you need on that. They are good players and hard hitters but can't play for 40 minutes a game. In my opinion Saban needs to put as many seniors and juniors behind some of the newer players that he can. The attitude that Stoney mentioned is what I think is leftover attitude from Shula's lack of decipline and motivation to never quit on a play. I can see an obvious difference in the intensity of the youger talent that he puts on the field. D.J. Hall had better pick up intensity or he will be a bench warmer for the rest of his Alabama career, in fact he might after the team reviews this weeks game tape.

| Re: Just Another Bump In The Road Frankly FSU made the adjustments on offense and we didn't. Why is up to the coaches. It is a disgrace to go out there and play like that. I have kids in highschool who give it a better effort than that. |

| Re: Just Another Bump In The Road I already sent some profiles to the appropiate coaches. Independence High School has a couple of good linemen that I think are very underated. Also there is a sophmore kid up here that is averaging 442 yds per game rushing and has some 42 TDs this season he was quoted in the paper as having a strong interest in Georgia and Alabama. Granted it is highschool. But there are kids all over the place that are making an impact. |

Case in point: back when I was covering high school football in the area, there was a kid who played for Weir High School in Weirton, W. Va. who just just dominant. Like a man against boys. I knew he was going to go on to start for a Division I school, and maybe spend some time in the NFL. His name was Quincy Wilson. I'm sure at least some of you remember him, it wasn't that long ago.
