Georgia QB not shy in Alabama

Stafford has good memories of previous visits

TUSCALOOSA - For Georgia quarterback Matthew Stafford, there's something about Alabama.

Last year, he led the slumping Bulldogs to a 37-15 win at then-No. 5 Auburn.

Last spring, he found fun during a NASCAR race at Talladega

Superspeedway with an attractive young lady and a keg of beer - pictures of which circulated the Internet.

Given that history, Stafford probably can't wait for Saturday's game at No. 16 Alabama.

"Every game in the SEC is a big one," Stafford said, "no matter where you're going to play or who you're playing against."

True, but it seems likely that Stafford has a heart for the Heart of Dixie.
It started with the Auburn game, which is where the Stafford era truly began.

The Bulldogs had lost four out of five coming into the game and Stafford had been thrust into the starting lineup as a true freshman.

It was empty - light - anybody could have done that - he is really a scrawny weak armed QB praying to get out of Alabama with his life

Well he is going to get up close and personal with Rolondo McClain and Prince Hall. Alabama is going to play full force and put together a complete game against Georgia.

Who are they? The guys that move the chains! They will be worn out trying to keep up with the Dawgs offense.
