| Alabama notebook: Thursday, September 13, 2007 Receiver Hall expectsbig game from Wilson TUSCALOOSA - Receiver DJ Hall doesn't expect a repeat of the struggles quarterback John Parker Wilson faced last week against Vanderbilt. That performance - 14-for-28 passing for 150 yards and an interception - has been motivating Wilson all week. "I think he'll be a lot more focused quarterback, a lot more comfortable in the pocket," Hall said. "You can tell from just his attitude in practice. He's getting tired of hearing he had a bad game. "Everybody has a bad game. You could honestly tell he's more focused." Wilson threw a career-high three touchdown passes last year against Arkansas. Blitz issues: Vanderbilt last week had occasional success with its blitz and the Tide didn't take advantage of its opportunities, coach Nick Saban said. "We got pressure at times (from the blitz)," Saban said. "Some of it was mental errors. Some of it was not getting rid of the ball when we needed to. I don't think we did a poor job in that regard. We had a couple of breakdowns and when you have those, they're usually in critical situations on third down." Alabama notebook- al.com
