| No Heisman pose as Lowe mimicks `5' TUSCALOOSA -- Just like the real Darren McFadden, the University of Alabama's version is wearing No.5 this week. Just like McFadden, Alabama's version can wield a solid stiff arm. But unlike the Arkansas running back, Jonathan Lowe has no designs on winning the Heisman Trophy. He swears he hasn't even struck the pose in the mirror. "Not at all, not at all," Lowe said. Really? Seriously? "I'm positive." Fine, but Lowe is emulating every other attribute of the Razorbacks' mega-star. The junior is one of at least two Crimson Tide players this week charged with playing McFadden's role on the scout team. Lowe, who has temporarily shed his No.30, aims to provide the defense with a genuine look on running plays. Out of the WildHog formation - with McFadden at quarterback - former Washington County quarterback Kyle Pennington gets the call. "I'm trying to emulate some of the things he does, whether it's back-side cuts, pressing the hole, just a lot of different things," said Lowe, who transferred from Mississippi State before the 2006 season. "It's hard, because he's such an exceptional athlete. But I'm just trying to do my job." The Crimson Tide faces the real McFadden, who rushed for 151 yards on 24 carries with a touchdown in the opener against Troy, Saturday at 5:45 p.m. on ESPN. Lowe said the defense is working hard to be ready for him, not to mention his All-Southeastern Conference sidekick Felix Jones. No Heisman pose as Lowe mimicks `5'- al.com
