Maybe, but only with a few losses by other teams. It's going to take them pulling off at least a decent sized upset to get them ranked.

That sounds right to me. It could happen after Vandy, if the win is large enough and there are a few upsets at the bottom end of the Top 25.

We will never "be" Arkansas but we will beat the ever living daylights out of them. Nick Saban has Alabama headed in the right direction and he has everyone wondering what he is going to do. His vanilla defense last week was strong so let's see what he does against Vandy.

I got a feeling that will be the game that could determine the National Title. Alabama still has some polishing to do before they get there but Saban will get the boys ready one game at the time.

They didnt look to sharp against vandy, I'll say that much..Vandy couldve won if not for all the penaltys..

imo Alabama is not a top 5 team right now

here is my logic: top 5 teams beat unranked teams by more them 20 points ... Vandy is unranked and Bama beat them by 14 ... not good enough

at this rate i would think LSU will beat Bama by at least 20

Well too bad you don't understand SEC football. A 1 point win counts just as much as a 50 point win. My guess is your top five are not all that anyway. I tell you what Oklahoma, Clemson, Boston College, South Carolina, Alabama are moving in the right direction. FSU, Notre Dame, Michigan, Boise State and several other teams that are the creme of the crop are falling on thier faces. Just because the media picks you to do well doesn't mean anything. It is the wins and losses.

LSU and Alabama are heading for a collision coures and it will shake the college world when they collide.

Bama's got a long, long way to go to work their way into the national title picture. You look at USC, LSU, Oklahoma as teams that would take the Tide to the woodshed if they played next weekend. I also wonder how Bama would handle Cal, Penn State, WVU, Louisville, Rutgers and to some degree, I'd even love to see them play Hawaii and Colt Brennan. One week at a time, and for now, you guys got your hands full with McFadden and Arkansas. Beat them, then we'll talk.

You won't have long to wait... Arkansas has had an extra week off this gives them too much time to think and they got a little rusty. Alabama will be prepared Saban will see to it.
