| Saban's critiqueof 'D' no soft sell TUSCALOOSA - The word has four letters and it has a four-letter word connotation. Soft. That's what Alabama coach Nick Saban said about the point of attack following last week's win over Western Carolina. Soft. Few letters used in that particular sequence can be so insulting to a defense. Soft. So in wake of such language, the question to ask Saban on Wednesday night was obvious: This week in practice, can you gauge if that's improved? After pondering the question for a few seconds, Saban barely used four letters to respond. "I hope I can't gauge it in practice," Saban said. "Does that answer your question?"
