After playing 8 snaps last year, sophomore is starting for Tide

TUSCALOOSA - For Mike McCoy, it's all about work.
He works to forget last year, a freshman season burned when he played only eight snaps.

He works to make this year memorable, "showing up when nobody else would show up to throw," quarterback John Parker Wilson said.

He works and now he's worked his way into Alabama's starting lineup at receiver for Saturday's season opener against Western Carolina.

"That's the type of person I am," McCoy said. "I feel like if I'm out here, I'm going to give it everything. They brought me here to do a job and add to the team and I'm going to try to help with the team."
