Well, the WVU defense played pretty well. That wasn't the problem. The South Florida defense was just better. They forced 6 turnovers, knocked Pat White out of the game and held Steve Slaton to just 54 yards on 13 carries. Talk about getting punched right in the mouth. Hey, Jarrett Brown almost brought us back, though, but almost only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.

Like I said before just because of the AP rtankings doesn't mean they have sucessfully judged the teams strengths. FSU isn't a top 10 team but they are a threat to win any game.
