Saban says he supports Tide's Castille, but will discipline him

"They might have taken that as being aggressive, as being disorderly," Caldwell said. "They have a tough job, a high-profile task they have handling the strip. We cooperate fully with what they do."

Upon being booked, Castille "stated that this was going to hurt his draft status and appeared to be crying," the report said.

Saban, the former Miami Dolphins coach, implied that it would not severely hamper Castille's pro stock.

"I think people should look at what he's done good, relative to this incident," Saban said, "and try to create proper balance with really the kind of character he has and who he is." Castille was the fourth Crimson Tide football player known to have been arrested in the past two months. Football players Brandon Deaderick, Brandon Fanney and Roy Upchurch were arrested for their role in a disturbance on the Strip on July 14.

"I don't think that does or says anything about the kind of program this is," Saban said, adding, "it's disappointing."

He probably behind closed doors said something like "What the hell were you thinking?"

haha, first, hes still gonna get drafted as long as he shows he can play, though the nfl does look at past records of players more closely now after the pacmans of the world have come in..he just may not be as high as he wouldve been, all in all this isnt a big deal, drugs or alcohol didnt seem to be involved which is good, dude was just acting a fool and a thug..

According to those standards no one from the University of Miami would be drafted.
