Stover tires of waiting game to help Tide offense

The hype surrounding Nikita Stover preceded him. As a two-way star at Hartselle High, he helped create it.
State high-jump championship as a sophomore. An eye-popping 27 yards per catch as a junior. By his senior season, he was one of the most coveted receiver prospects in the country.
Then came academic ineligibility and a trip to Itawamba Community College in Fulton, Miss. Then came the wait. In some ways, those at the University of Alabama are still waiting.

Bear Bryant always had a guy who could leap over the pile for a yard.
