Alabama RB Terry Grant

I know we've already discussed him, but it sure sounds like a lot of people are starting to take note of Alabama RB Terry Grant. Among them is Rivals.com, who calls the speedy redshirt freshman the Best Player You Don't Know Yet in their SEC preseason breakdown. Says Rivals senior writer Olin Buchanan, "Grant should provide the boost needed to upgrade Alabama's running game. He scored 113 touchdowns in high school. He'll score a bunch in college, too."

Preseason breakdown: SEC - NCAA Football - Yahoo! Sports
Between their hype and what you Tide fans have already said about the kid, I can't wait to see him in action!

Grant is going to become an impact player this year. You can bet on that.

Kind of small for an impact back...Would like to see him up around 200 without a loss of speed.

Well, he is just a redshirt freshman. He's got time to grow, but yeah, that's definitely on the smallish side.

But they haven't got anything to measure the heart of the player. I would much rather have a player with heart for instance Steve Smith of the Carolina Panthers.

Ok we have a guy named Olin telling us that Grant will be great - I'll buy that - however this same fellow (Olin) is picking Bama as the 4th best team in the west - I'll buy that too

Cash cow LOL

None of my relatives still living in Mobile have tickets either.

I'll settle for the big screen right now and think that game will have a huge viewer share. Ga has a few hurdles to jump before that game - I hope the young guys step up.

All I hear on the radio around here is that SC wants to bash your brains in but good! So take care of the light work before you come to Tuscaloosa to get your teeth kicked in.

Ball coach wants it more than anything - he hates Ga and for good reason - the dawgs kicked his butt when he was a senior at Fla - I was there
