Tide's offense pounds defense

"We didn't play anything like we need to play on defense today," coach Nick Saban said following the 92-play scrimmage at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Led by quarterback John Parker Wilson and tailback Terry Grant, the Tide offense scored eight touchdowns - including a paid of 50-yard TD passes.

Opposing teams should take notice because they are going to get a high dose of Terry Grant.

I wouldn't be so quick to say that, Terry Grant is on the same level as Darren McFadden except that everyone knows about McFadden.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, heard it all before. Like I keep saying, if Grant's really that good, he's got to prove it on Saturdays this fall. Until he does, he's just a kid who wishes he was as good as McFadden. Grant could have all the potential in the world, but having potential and getting the job done are two vastly different things. If he's so good, why couldn't he beat out Kenneth Darby last season?

Because of two things Mike Shula and the fact that Shula played his seniors. Grant really is that good you know Noob maybe you should go watch some game tape of this spring's practice. That might just help you to understand a little bit about why we are so high on this kid.

Agreed Darby ran up to the line and danced that won't be tolerated by Saban.
