| "Alabama fans" and "realistic" in the same sentence? "If you're going to dream, dream big. I mean, I want to go undefeated and win a national championship," said Murray, of Rainbow City, who works for Tide Emergency Medical Services. "But I think that's asking a lot." Tide fans bridle optimism- al.com

| Dream the dream. It could happen. According to one preseason magazine I read Bama is a darkhorse for the National Championship. If LSU could do it in 2003 then so can the Tide. |

| Thanks (I think). I remembered reading it but couldn't remember where it was from. I should go pick up that magazine and frame it since that is probably the only place where you will see Alabama and national championship in the same sentence for the next couple years. |

| Re: "Alabama fans" and "realistic" in the same sentence? I am all for them winning and will be cheering them on no matte how they do this season. I do have to agree that Saban is a bit lacking on class. He is a good coach but not classy. |

CTA Nominee, Worst Coaching Move: Nick Saban's Lie - Sports Blog - The FanHouse "Seriously, Nick Saban. Why didn't you just tell the truth? Or, alternatively, just refuse to answer? Instead, when Nick Saban was asked about the rumors that he would coach at Alabama, he lied. "I'm not going to be the Alabama coach," Saban said. A few weeks later, he was the Alabama coach." Dolfans Say Good Riddance To Saban - Sports News Story - WTVJ | Miami "'Nick Saban is a liar, a coward, a quitter,' wrote P. Myers. 'He's been saying for the past few weeks that he isn't going to Alabama. He doesn't even have the guts to show for the news conference today. And when things don't go his way (15 - 17 overall record), he runs away. So, what have we lost? Not a damn thing. Good riddance!'" That does not jive with MY definition of class. I hate to dreg this back up again, but you DID ask.

| Re: "Alabama fans" and "realistic" in the same sentence? Amen Lefty. Don't get me wrong, I hope he has all the success in the world at Alabama, I just don't think he will ever have the class of Paul Bear Bryant or Gene Stallings. |
