| Re: Bama Football Practice Begins Old enough to watch Alabama go untied and unbeaten in 1966 and still get robbed of the national title after winning bavk to back titles in 1964 and 1965. All because Notre Dame came back to tie Michigan. Old enough to attend Paul "Bear" Bryant camps in Tuscaloosa and meet the Best NCAA Coach ever. So what about you? Judging by your slaughter of the English language my guess is you are under 25. |

| Re: Bama Football Practice Begins That's correct I am in a position to remember the past and look foward to the future of Alabama football. You on the other hand are simply stuck with watching the demise of Tennesee. By the way how many fans showed up to your spring practice? Did you go? How many thousands got turned away in the parking lot? [And I am not referring to I-40 either] {Yes I travel through Knoxville from time to time} |

| Re: Bama Football Practice Begins Hmm, interesting question. I don't believe either has the talent to do so at the moment. Saban's definitely riding a recruiting high right now, but for that to keep up he has to have a good season. It's tough when you've got the likes of Florida and LSU right in your own conference to deal with. I guess speaking objectively I'd have to give the nod to Bama, but that's now. A poor first year for Saban and something big happening in Knoxville (surprising season, a big-name coaching change to rival the Saban hiring) could tip the scales back the other way quite easily.
