| Bama lands top in-state recruit Alabama coach Nick Saban landed another top in-state prospect Monday with a commitment from Vigor High School athlete Burton Scott, who may play a role similar to former Tide star David Palmer. Meanwhile, Scott's teammate, cornerback Marcal Robinson, committed to Arkansas. Scott, a 6-foot, 185-pounder who plays quarterback at Vigor but is projected as a receiver in college, said his final decision came down to Alabama, Auburn and Florida. He still plans to take official visits to all three schools, as well as USC and Miami (Fla.) -- Mobile Register al.com: Everything Alabama |

Right now Saban becoming Bama's head coach is huge boost to the hopes of Alabama fans everywhere. I don't think that anyone should complian when a fan touts their head coach in the Team forum in which he is the coach. Tennessee Fans Like Fulmer, Auburn Tbberville, LSU Les Miles and on and on.
