2006 Alabama Football Schedule

Here's the schedule for the 2006 Alabama football season:

9-2-06 HAWAII
9-9-06 VANDERBILT
9-16-06 LOUISIANA-MONROE
9-23-06 at Arkansas
9-30-06 at Florida
10-7-06 DUKE
10-14-06 MISSISSIPPI
10-21-06 at Tennessee
10-28-06 FLORIDA INTERNATIONAL
11-4-06 MISSISSIPPI STATE
11-11-06 at Louisiana State
11-18-06 AUBURN

Love to hear your thoughts on how the Tide is gonna do this year. Where's the road bumps? What's the best guess at the record? What's the pivitol game gonna be this year?

Thanks, Ross

Re: 2006 Alabama Football Schedule

They sure won't be challenged in any out of conference games. 3 games I think they lose are at Florida, at LSU, at Tennessee. Possible others are at Arkansas and the Auburn game. In my opinion, you get the 2 best teams in the SEC on the road in LSU and Florida. Tennessee will play much better than they did last year and we all know how big the Vols-Tide game is every year. Auburn is tough, could go either way do to the rivalry implications. At Arkansas is the upset sleeper possibility. I think Bama goes 8-4. If they get some breaks maybe 10-2.

I'd be pretty dang happy if we beat Bama at Neyland this year but I just don't think it'll happen. I think it's a 9-3 year for the Tide. Just not sure where those losses will be.

Not sure how good Bama will be without Croyle. Who's taking over at QB and how's he look?

Re: 2006 Alabama Football Schedule

I think the first game of the season is one that they should keep an eye on. Even though Hawaii is not a big time program, they could still pull an early season shocker...

Re: 2006 Alabama Football Schedule

Florida, Auburn and Tennessee all on the road. With this schedule, can Bama win the SEC West in 2006?

Re: 2006 Alabama Football Schedule

There's no doubt they should lose the final two games on their schedule. Can they beat Florida? Probably. A 10-2 or 9-3 record is good for a bowl birth for sure.

Re: 2006 Alabama Football Schedule

Where to start! the biggest game for bama this year will be UT! last year we cut it close and escaped by the skin of our teeth. We will def. beat florida, they are on a downhill dive even if they do have a new QB and Urban. Without Brodie it is going to be tough because he was the center of our crimson tide offense. Auburn will be a good game as well because its the state rivalry. By the way if anyone knows where i can get some Bama-Tn. tickets let me know. bamalovinblonde@yahoo.com

We were lucky to be invited to a bowl and we stunk that up too. But next year is coming and with Saban at the helm we are expecting great things.
