| Re: All Time Best Defensive Football Play I agree, that is the best defensive play I have ever seen. However, it was in the Sugar Bowl National Championship game against Miami in Jan of 93. for the 92 Championship. He ran down Lamar Thomas from WAYYYYY behind. (Sports casters praised Lamar Thomas all season as one of if not THE FASTEST man in college football.) That game also pretty much ended Gino Toretta's (The Heisman Trophy winner) career.

| Re: All Time Best Defensive Football Play Aw comon guys the best one was just a couple of years ago when Tennesee was driving for the go ahead score. The Alabama linebacker hit the Tennesee full back on the 2 yard line and forced a fumble that went out of the inzone resulting in a touchback. It killed the momentum of the game for Tennesee and a lackluster game was turned around as Alabama took heart and went and drove the field for a game winning field goal ALABAMA 6 TENNESEE 3. That was a truly awesome display of emotion and defense that day. |
