As everyone knows Pertrino has taken a deal to coach ATL for 24 mil 5 years..... Am I just crazy or did he just say a couple of weeks ago that he loved Louisville, he would never leave them, they just gave him a contract extension, and he could never leave..... WOW sound familiar????? Where is all the hatred??? Will their be any?>??? Anyone think??? Same thing Saban did...... We will now see if ESPN is truly bias toward UA.....

Again I say it was never about the money.... RIGHT! I just threw away my loyalty to Louisville. I really hate to see him move to Atlanta and the NFC South. Mora was fun to beat. Who knows Petrino may get them to trade Vick to the Lions for several picks or maybe to Oakland for the #1 overall and take Russel.

That would be interesting if he did trade Vick... Dont' think the owner ( can't think of his name) would do it though.... Vick is his man.... That is what I would do though.... trade to Oakland and take Russel.... I think Vick would be an awesome fit in Oakland...

You guys have to realize nobody hates Alabama. All the hate spewed last week was towards Saban.

Now I'm sure there will be those pissed at Petrino for throwing the large extension given to him by Louisville in the trash...give them till sunrise

Yep, its morning and here I am. Don't have all the details on this hire yet, but, man is it disappointing. I hate it when a coach bails on a program, and in many ways, this is worse than what Saban did because Petrino's not only bailing on a bunch of college kids that he personally talked into coming to Louisville, but he's also turning his back on a team that won a BCS bowl this year and was most likely on their way to challenging for a national championship. This was a stupid move on Petrino's part, IMO, and I hate the way that he's kicking those Cardinal players to the curb.

Lefty I can't believe I agree with you on a point- that being that these were kids he bailed on! Sometimes it's hard to believe it, but college players are still boys. Saban quit on professionals- What a difference. Now I am a lifelong Falcon fan and this hire sucks! We don't need another "hot shot" to come in a get us back on the winning track. I ma very disappointed in Aurthur Blank!

Well what you have to realize is that there is people that hate UA and that hates the SEC... Why?? I have no idea..... See, you do not see it because you do not pay attention to detail like we do.... Their is bias toward us......And if you are going to tell me that all the negative comments didn't have anything to do with UA your crazy... ( no pun intended).....It had everything to do with Saban, UA, and the way everything went down.....These people are out their before we hired Saban saying UA is not a good job.... Noone wants to come and coach.. While I would be the 1st to admit that is was probably not a top 10 job... It was certainly in the top 20 -25..... Now you have the same people saying wow Bama is back.... Praising us in some sort of sense...... I know every team gets ragged on in some way but the Media outside of this state and some inside rags on us way more than they do others.....

They seem to forget that he has interviewed for a different job after EVERY season at Lousiville. They seem to have forgotten that he PROMISED his players he would be "for the long haul". Yea how easily they forget. Now remember I am a lifelong Falcon fan so this really hurts not to support our new coach. The truth of the matter is that they hate Bama and they hate Saban because he doesn't pander to the media. Come to think of it Bama doesn't and hasn't really pandered to the media.

That's a shame. Guys like this should all be held to the same standard.

I didn't like what Saban did, and I sure don't like what Petrino did, especially considering his involved a longer contract and college kids.

Either its OK for both of them, or OK for neither. My vote is for neither.

Saban did what he did in the PROS.
Petrino did it to young men he convinced that he would be there for them.

I think that's where we draw the line.
