Yes what about those kids he recruited for LSU who are now in the Pros? Let's ask Jamarcus Russell how much Saban impacted him and if it was for better or worse. Let's see #1 pick overall in the NFL or fast food manager in Mobile Alabama. Hmmmm.

The point is Louisville kids are still too close to the coach and were depending on him to get them a shot at the next level. How many kids from this year are expected to go to the NFL from Louisville besides Brohm? How many will go into the NFL from LSU? From this standpoint a coaching situation is like a marriage. You really do intend to spend the rest of your life with that person {team}. But irreconcilable differences happen. You split up yeah everyone blames someone else and no one takes responsibility for thier part. That's life and you simply move on and you get over it.

I also understand that this type of thing is common practice in all levels of sports. I agree, you accept it, and move on. But to infer Saban's kids didn't get hosed (in multiple instances) but Petrino's did? Not sure that makes any sense.

Timing, sure Saban did people wrong in the past. But the difference now is Saban is coming from the NFL and Petrino did his little number after seeing all the chaos that others like Saban have created by doing the same thing . It just comes down to being selfish and greedy that is something they both share along with being winners.
