Nick Saban is a lying carpetbagger. He only cares about the money and will jump ship as soon as somebody else offers him more money.

And should the charm wear off in record time, I am sure the buy out would be make him jsut as wealthy...

Okay, I'm posting in both of these threads, pro and con Saban.

WHY NICK SABAN SUCKS:
He has no integrity. No sense of committment. He leaves jobs half finished and he leaves the team he bails on in a total mess. Just look at the Dolphins. Since he had total control, they have no one officially in place except the owner who can make coaching and personnel decisions. They're and older team than they were when he left, and no closer to being a playoff team. And the worst part is he's gonna bail on Bama in 2-3 years when the next big payday comes along and they don't even realize it.

If I could read between the lines, I would say Wayne probably said to Nick, "Dude if you aren't going to be the least bit committed here, take the money and run...we are paying you too much to be another Jim Mora."

Just wait until the Alabama "Mafia" gets a hold of him after a couple of 7 win seasons.

He is expected to win next year ... not 7-5 mind you ... but no less than 9-3. All I have heard is that all the pieces are in place ... which means that Shula did a great job of recruiting.

I don't think he has a clue what he has gotten himself into. Actually, he may know exactly what it is and that is why his 8 year 32 million dollar contract is guaranteed money!!

He may want to get fired after 3-4 years and sit around making 4 million a year ...

Hell Yes! Any decent coach could have managed the clock and made adjustments to his team. Shula didn't that is why he got fired. Saban will take the same talent and win the SEC Championship. That's right you heard it here first. Buzz it is time that people wake up to the fact you have to have a pro coach and staff to have an edge in college football.

Comon Simon is that the best you can do? I expected something with more substance and vitrol than that. Can't you come up with some sort of hex or curse like the Yankees put on the Redsox? At least go on a serious tirade like you really care. We get much better responses from fans in the SEC. Where is that national discrimination we are so used to seeing? Have you Yankees gone soft on us?
