Top 10 reasons Bama Posters should make a cameo appearance in another forum...

Okay, I have been watching you Bama posters and guys, its time you move on and share your thoughts in other parts of our fabulous forums..

So here are the Top 10 reasons Bama Posters should make a cameo appearance in another forum...

10 - I would have to do too much research to keep up with all this talk about what college coach would bring Bama it's next title...I like to do as little work as possible (ask our site owner).

9- There are not enough coaching candidates to keep you guys active during the next 6 or 7 months...

8- I think you guys would hit it off with our passionate Nascar crowd.

7- We really need more hits on our Cowboys, Celtics, and Yankee ads...

6- It would be good theraphy for you...you are all sounding a bit compulsive about this coaching thing...

5- There are so many other coaches and Administrators to pick on in the world of sports...a guy like Isiah Thomas or Matt Millien would lesson your obvious pain.

4- Bama football ended with Bear Bryant...time to move on...

3- Some one has to stick up for Brodie Croyle in the NFL...

2- Someone else is playing for the National Title -Again...

1- Of course the number one reason is, you are all a fun, and passionate bunch and we would love to hear your take on other sports issues...

And we have a family tradition down here called The Iron Bowl. Problem is yous gusy just donna get it. Issa like da Yankees & Red Sox outside yo house nobody cares.

they would probably have to longest thread in history if they combined them all into one thread. They are a passionate group. I hope they can put that effort into baseball when it starts. This place will never slow down.

If a major league baseball team moved to our state we would have the same passion.

Hmmm...I think someone came up with this little magic box called a TV, and some one else put a satellite into orbit, and the combo of the two lets you follow whatever team you want, no matter where you are at...

Orlando outside the Magic don't have another pro team...its never stop me being passionate about teams elsewhere...give it a try...

Have you ever experienced a Tenesse Alabama football game live in person? Or perhaps attended the iron bowl? We choose to live out our experiences rather than watch TV.

I suppose being able to do both is out of the question then?... ...cause I tell you, I go to local games as much as I can...and it doesn't take anything away from enjoying a good game on the tube...

Wait a second, you live in Orlando and make the trip to Neyland Stadium on the third Saturday in October to watch Alabama whoop up on the Tennesee Volunteers and you have the audacity to say it is better or just as good on TV? Where else can you taunt thousands of Tennesee fans? Please the experience of being there outweighs any television coverage.

Well if truth be told, I have plenty of Audacity...However in this case you have read the post wrong...I said, I can enjoy a live game and still find enjoyment in a TV game...I can root live for the home team (depending where I live, and I have lived all over) and yet be just as passionate about a team I follow on TV...in other words, there is more to life than Neyland stadium...and however much you care to overdose on the enjoyment of a live game, it is a "limiting statement" to think that is as good as it gets in sports in general (or life)...for example, say Bama got thier butts handed to them live (seeing as they don't have a coach, its not a stretch... )...I venture to say a close game of March madness on TV can be just as enjoyable enjoyed, as seeing your home team get crushed by the Vols live...

As to where can you taunt lots of Tennessee fan...there are plenty of places including "the Swamp in Florida" for one...

In all of sports there is no place as electric as the college football fields in the SEC. All the rest of sports could go off air or never be played again and that wouldn't bother Alabama fans one little bit. We live for football and yes we enjoy going to Florida and handing it to them as well. But there is just something special about beating Tennesee it is just a tradition. The last game I went to in Neyland Alabam won 6-3 in one of the best struggles ever.

I think there are some folks out in Texas, California and in the Central States that would beg to differ with you. What makes you think that Alabama-Tennessee is any more passionate then say Ohio State-Michagan or even something old and tradition as Army-Navy or Havard-Yale etc?

How about the black eyes and bruises and the family members not speaking to one another? Or when it leaves you so shaky from watching it you need a drink to calm your nerves. Not to mention how much money is bet on this game. In the SEC it is the equivilent of brothers against brothers. As Mr Jackson so eloquently put it WHOAHHH NELLY! Did you see the 2005 game between Alabama and Tennesee? That was a struggle and you didn't know who was going to win until the last play of the game.

Ah, heck... here in Ohio, we get that with our high school games. Check out the movie "Go Tigers!" if you want to see some hardcore football fans.

I'm sure Texas is the same way, too... they love them some high school football!

I have been reading this site for over a week with all the coaching stuff going on being as I am a HUGE DIE HARD Alabama fan! But after reading this post I have decided to move on and try to find another board. I find it upsetting that a staff member of this site would post something such as his #4 saying Alabama football died with Bear Bryant, move on. I know my opinion matters very little, and I understand that everyone is allowed to have their own opinions of things. But to say something such as that and come from a staff member of this site. I think they should be more mindful as they represent this site.

See, I didn't think I needed to write a #11...something along the lines of a small handful of Bama fans being a tiny, tiny, itsy, bitsy bit too sensitive, and really missing the whole tongue in cheek humor with which the post was written...but hey thanks for dropping by...by the way, after a week of reading posts, why, pray tell, is this the only one that got you to post in return?

Come on now Bama fans, you guys do have a sense of humor right? I mean you got to, to put up with your Athletic Director...
