Re: Coach Leach

Welcome to GoTeamsGo, BD91, and thanks for joining us!

I've always wondered what the Texas Tech offense would look like with big-program talent; if Alabama would indeed go ahead and hire Leach, they sure would be an exciting team to watch. It'd be very important for him to hire a strong defensive coordinator, though, cause that unit would need to be very good and very well conditioned. Think there's any chance this'll happen?

Re: Coach Leach

Coach Leach would be a good choice I think. Alabama needs a coach that will come in and open the offence up. hey have been a running team so long that the passing has suffered. They have a good QB in Wilson and with his ability I would like to see what he can do with a spread offence.
I do believe with all the silence at Alabama right now they may have a tenative deal struck with someone, but I have nothing to coloberate this with.

Re: Coach Leach

This is the first suggestion that I have heard about Leach. Sounds good, but I don't care who we get, we better keep Joe Kines. He is the only sense of stability that many of the players know.

Re: Coach Leach

I agree with you. Depending on how Alabama does in the bowlgame, maybe they will look at coach Kines as a head coach.

Re: Coach Leach

I'm glad this is finally over. My only concern is that Mal saved his job by signing such a big name guy. Will Kines stay or will Saban get rid of him? Isn't Saban a big defense guy?
