good coach for Alabama job

Larry Blakeley of Troy would be a good choice as he has proven himself in Troy.

Welcome to GoTeamsGo, jute, and thanks for joining us!

The 57-year-old Blakeney seems like a solid choice. According to an old article over at TroyTrojans.com, "Blakeney, whose career record stands at 115-53-1, is currently tied with Hall of Fame coach Frank Thomas as the fourth winningest coach in the history of college football in the state of Alabama. Only Paul "Bear" Bryant from Alabama (232), Cleve Abbott from Tuskegee (203) and Ralph "Shug" Jordan, who coached Blakeney at Auburn (176), stand in front of Blakeney on the all-time list."

What do you think, Bama fans? Would you want Blakeney as your head coach?

NOPE, he by far is a coach someone should look at. Bryant Jr. will nix that fast if it is even brought up. He played at Auburn. Just ask Pat Sullivan who should have been the UAB coach. Bear's sperm would not have anything to so with an auburn alum coaching at bama.

Unfortunately guys he's right anybody with ties to Auburn is dead in the water. I agree he would make a fantastic coach.
