And Yes, Mal Moore is a puppet for Paul Bryant Jr. and until he is gone you can expect confusion, ineptness and mediocrity!!

Don't think Grobe is going anywhere. The ACC Title win is a blank check for him at Wake Forest. And an Orange Bowl win would insure he isn't moving. I can't imagine that he built that program up the way he did just to walk away from it. The same goes for the Schiano to Miami rumors.

Rodriguez says he's not leaving WVU. They ran his statement prior to the WVU - Rutgers game, so I guess that's that.

who would tell a big time program to shut-up...he is not NOT going to hear what bama has to say....but....."Rod" is going to hear there offer and then say NO......so can we please move on from the WVA coach......

the only reason Rich would leave WVU is for $$$. Don't kid yourself in thinking that just about any other program is better off than where Nehlen & Rodriquez has WVU. Twenty wins in two years and beat the SEC rep. in the Sugar Bowl last year. Plus WVU does not fire folk for style points.

While we all would love to have steve spurrier as our next coach, it may be coach rod for bama. We may be lucky to get him. Who knows if theres another Bear out there somewhere, Bobby Bowden is too old to come home now, and lets face it U of A is not ever going to be the program it once was as long as Bryant jr. and mal moore are calling the shots.Shula may have taken us there if given enough time. I do know that whoever comes in will be taking over one helluva Shula recruited team and should compete nicely in 07 and be real close to winning it all in 08.For the long RUN, Navy's triple option Johnson may be the answer but I'd much rather FLY with the option spread of Rodriquez. unless, of course, the ol' ball coach changes his mind and decides to go surfing with the Crimson Tide. Roll on.

Yeah, he's not the right guy for the job. He's a disciplinarian, a great offensive minded coach, and a guy who put WVU on the map. He beat UGA last year in the Sugar Bowl and is going to another Jan 1 Bowl game this year. Yeah, this guy stinks. I've been an Alabama fan for my entire life (almost 40 yrs now). If Rich Rodriguez isn't the perfect man for this job then maybe we should dig up the Bear and let him try it again. Get real Bama fans, this is 2006 and Coach Rod is a perfect fit. Let's get him in here and start winning some titles again!! Roll Tide....
